Who can use a Segway HT?

anyone at least 12 years old

anyone at least 4 feet tall

anyone between 50 and 285 pounds

anyone that can step up and down approximately 8 inches unassisted and without the aid of a handrail

anyone able to safely negotiate pedestrian sidewalks and intersection crosswalks

Requirements

All tourists must read and complete our waiver form. Any tourists under 18 years old will need a parent or guardian sign for them

All tourists must wear an approved helmet

All tourists must wear secure footwear (sorry, no heels, flip-flops nor unsecured slides)

All tourists must be able to stand for periods near 20 minutes at a time

Segway Tours of Houston are by reservation only. We normally tour on evenings and weekends. Please contact us via this website or the phone number listed. Your tour is NOT confirmed until you receive either a written or verbal acknowledgement from a Segway Tours of Houston guide. We confirm tours by taking credit card information (debit, Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express). Our policy is to place a "hold" on the amount of the tour but not charge the account until the tour is completed.
